Farehaven Lodge

Farehaven Lodge is a care home without nursing. The home provides accommodation for up to 40 people who require personal care.

The Home has a total of 36 comfortable bedrooms, of which 3 are luxury singles, all of which have been tastefully decorated. Most rooms have full en-suite facilities. All rooms have individually controlled heating, a nurse call system, television and telephone sockets. The Home has two lounges, one with a television and video whilst the smaller “quiet lounge” has a music system and french doors which lead out into the garden. The Home has a separate dining room and a glass conservatory that leads onto an outside patio area. Bathrooms and toilets are well positioned throughout the Home.

Various activities are organised for the Residents and they are encouraged to participate. Activities and entertainment include, exercise sessions, Arts and Crafts, musical reminiscence hour, in house bingo, cards and game play.

The staff at Farehaven Lodge are well trained in not only general care for the elderly but also in dementia care and caring for residents with physical disabilities and mental illnesses.
