Tudor Lodge Nursing Home

The nurses and carers gave dedicated care to my mother who had a severe stroke. Her condition was very precarious and great care was given to ensure she was always correctly positioned. Unable to speak, move or eat my mother was completely dependant on the carers for every aspect of her daily life. The consultant at the hospital expected her to survive only 6 months, but she remained with us for almost 3 years - a testament to the expertise and dedication of the staff at Tudor Lodge. We could not have asked for more.

A caring home that looked after my Father extremely well. I had never experienced nursing homes before I had to find one for my Father. The relationships were very good between the carers and my Father and his family. On the few occasions I asked for something for my Father it was always actioned and the home were very proactive in creating good relationships with the family.

Our family would like to thank Tudor Lodge for the care they gave to Dad during his final weeks. We were so pleased that he died at Tudor Lodge and did not have to be moved to hospital. We would like to thank one member of staff especially for making Dads final hours as comfortable as possible and for altering us to his deterioration so that we could be with him at the end. A second member of staff too was very kind and attentive to Dads increasing needs and it was such a weight off our minds to see him so well cared for. All the carers were unfailingly kind and helpful as well. The home was recommended to us and I would have no hesitation in doing the same. Mum has decided that if and when the time comes for her to move into care, Tudor Lodge will be top of the list.
