Woodlands Care Home

Woodlands Care home is a residential care home. The home can care for up to thirty one people with different care needs.

Woodlands is located in the quiet residential suburb of Lovedean, Waterlooville. The home is easily accessible not only to cars but also to public transport. Woodlands lies on the A3(M) corridor making it very easy for families to visit their loved ones in care with us.

Many visitors to the home comment on our regal dining facilities and tranquil lounges. All of our bedrooms have been tastefully furnished to very high standards. The home has 28 single bedrooms, 1 luxury single bedroom and 1 companion room. The home also has 3 specialist bathing and shower facilities.

The garden is laid out to lawn with a number of small areas of shrubs and flowers. We have garden furniture laid out on our patio and many residents enjoy their summer afternoons with a cup of tea in the sunshine.

Activities at the home include gentle exercise groups, reminiscence sessions, bingo, hoi, and arts and crafts. Trips away from the home are periodically organized and the staff also organize many seasonal events such as Garden Parties, Christmas Parties, and Easter Celebrations.

The manager, Joanne Othen, has a very warm and caring manner, which is reflected in all her staff.
