Edenvale Nursing Home is registered to care for 35 residents and the staff are well trained in caring for residents with dementia, Alzheimer disease, mental illnesses, and physical disabilities.

Edenvale Nursing Home is a purpose built nursing home which opened in November 2010. All bedrooms at the home are en-suite. With a mix between different designs, residents can choose between modern looking rooms and more traditional ones with one common theme: All rooms are designed to offer an environment of warmth, peace, and serenity. All bedrooms come fully equipped with profiling beds, furniture, and flat screen televisions.

There are four separate lounge areas throughout the home including an activities room, multi-faith room, and a cinema room. The home has a range of different bathing facilities, all with specialist equipment designed for older people with mobility challenges. There is a spacious and secure garden at the rear of the property.

The building has been designed to care for people with dementia. This, combined with the strategic use of technology, has enabled the development of a unique environment which is incredibly well served to care for the people that stay there.

The home has a very close relationship to the local GP surgery and the physician regularly visits the care home. Edenvale also has a very close relationship to other healthcare professionals in the local area.

The staff at the home have been strategically recruited for their talents and their experience working with older people with dementia and physical nursing needs. Their skills, attitude, expertise, and kindness are what make Edenvale Nursing Home a great place to live.

We look forward to welcoming you to our home soon.

Mum has been here for more than a year now. Both my brother and I visited quite a homes before deciding on this one. Some were down-right scary! My sister-in-law is a doctor and was also recommended it by colleagues that visited patients in the home. There are no bad smells, and it's always kept clean. Mum's room is lovely and the staff look after her well. Mum has always been quite choosy about the food she eats, but she has no problem with the choices here. The most important thing for us was to make sure that mum was in the best place possible for her, and I think this is what we have achieved. I don't have any real downsides as I've never had a problem which needed to be resolved.
