Sep 15 2019 What a wonderful provision for our dear older brothers and sisters ! All physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met here. The home is set in a lovely residential area and has large gardens to the rear, we watched squirrels, birds and even a hedgehog whilst enjoying a delicious home cooked lunch. An impressive variety of activities is provided daily. The day's text is lovingly printed in large letters and read before dinner. No one misses a meeting as they connect live to the local meetings - wonderful! Feel the love!! Mum's so happy here, definitely the right decision!!!

Care to detail of the needs of someone in the early stages of Alzheimer's and vascular dementia can be very challenging, sometimes emotionally trying and very sad to experience when you know it can only get worse bit by bit. The carers at this care home have a knack of allowing individuality without putting others at risk. So all can feel safe, well loved and that means that a good community spirit can exist. Spiritual activities are of prime importance and for those living here that brings a sense of normality as their life has already taken on a very different direction mentally. Comfortable lounges and a choice of food each day make Leyland Jah Jireh more like a personal high class hotel with that lovely touch of home. Just fab.
