Milbanke is one of the residential homes for older people operated by Lancashire County Council. Milbanke is a purpose built care home close to the centre of Kirkham. Accommodation is provided for up to 44 elderly people who require personal care, dementia care or have a mental disorder. The home is split into four units. There is a passenger lift to gain access to both floors. There are accessible gardens for people to use in good weather.

Jul 1 2016 My mother spent the last two and a half years in the home and I cannot praise enough the care and love shown to her. The staff are dedicated and incredibly caring, they have shown her compassion, respect and most of all treated her like she was their own mother. I have been kept informed at all times as to her health and welfare and had great peace of mind throughout. My mother passed away recently and I could not fault the end of care she received from the staff. My mother always said " I like it here and the staff are so kind and lovely" Mum said it all !!
