My mother has been a resident at the Promenade Care Home since December 2014. The overall standard of care and support is excellent. Residents are always treated with dignity by friendly, helpful staff. Her bedroom is always clean and tidy, the communal spaces are comfortable and tidy. There are lots of activities through the week, such as bingo, hairdresser, massages, minibus outings. The town centre location is handy for the shops, cafes and park. Most of the staff have been the same throughout her time there, so it feels like there is a family atmosphere. The other residents are friendly and like to have a chat when you visit. I feel that she is safe and well cared for. |

My Mother has been a resident at the Promenade Care Home for a number of years following her stroke and is extremely happy and settled there.
The management and staff are marvelous - professional, caring, compassionate and patient; they are very attentive and ensure Mum’s health is constantly monitored, and that she is engaged and stimulated throughout the day. The home cooked food is excellent and I feel sure that she is eating a better and more balanced diet now than she was prior to her stroke.
There are daily quizzes and games, and outings in the Home’s mini-bus are frequent. On a personal care front, there are a variety of hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, massage and relaxation sessions.
My Sister and I (and our families) are regular visitors to the Promenade Care Home and are always made most welcome and are kept appraised of Mum’s general health and well being. |
