Claydon Lodge Care Home

My mother has recently passed away and was a resident at Claydon lodge for the past few years. We have always been extremely happy with all the staff, they are so kind and caring and give the residents the respect they deserve. The rooms are always clean and tidy and all the residents are well looked after. They have regular activity days which I have noticed they all enjoy taking part in. The staff have always been amazing and nothing is to much trouble. I personally would highly recommend Claydon Lodge to anyone who has a loved one who they want to put into care, they are all the most caring, compassionate and friendly staff.

As a visitor for about half an hour, for each of the past three years, my overriding impression is that - in front of me and my wife - the staff are extremely patient, caring, good humoured and friendly. At lunchtime one resident sitting in a lounge indicated that she did not want to go to the dining room; shortly afterwards the carer appeared with a plate of lunch for her. That's service indeed! Moreover my wife's friend, a resident, seems quite happy there.

Claydon Lodge has been a god-send to our family. We now have peace of mind that a person very special to us is safe and is being looked after day and night. Since moving her to this home we have noticed significant improvements in her physical and mental well-being, despite the dementia, as well as the return of that fantastic, mischievous, twinkle in her eyes. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The staff are absolutely brilliant : friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble.
