The Staveley Centre is a registered provider of living accommodation for people who require residential or personal care. Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our clients as far as are practicable. We are committed to the principle of consultation and full involvement of clients (or their representatives) at all stages of their care.
The Staveley Centre is available to clients with residential care needs and specialises in dementia. We have a 32 bed residential unit which accommodates 20 long term residential care beds and 4 respite beds. In addition we have 8 designated beds for Intermediate/Re-ablement - these clients will have the benefit of a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist on site to support and facilitate rehabilitation following illness, hospital care, before being discharged home.
The property is set on the outskirts of Chesterfield which offers a convenient town centre location at the heart of the community in Derbyshire.
We provide a range of health and social care support in partnership with other agencies. We provide a regular programme of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. This includes the choice and opportunity for people to participate as fully as possible in local community activities.
We support people's right in care including their continued links to participating as a citizen of the wider community and to have emotional and social needs accepted and respected. We have procedures in place to safeguard clients and accessible and open procedures for addressing any suggestions or concerns raised by clients or their representatives.

Jun 29 2018 I have a 92 year old Mum who really was quite adverse about going into a care home, But was necessary as I could not leave her alone for two weeks whilst I was away on holiday. After a number of visits to different care homes to find the right one for her needs,. The Staveley Centre seemed to tick all the boxes. However my mum was still quite reluctant. But on my return her view was changed completely she was full of praise and enjoyed her visit thoroughly, in fact she has stated that she will be willing to go back again and if ever the day comes when she may need to go in a home on a more permanent basis, then this would be the one she would choose. Thank you for the care and support that you have given her to make the transition in having respite care more accepting.

Dec 14 2016 my dad as recently had to go in for rest by .the staff are so kind and thoughtful to my dad's needs .they are so supportive to me as I'm the only person left to help my dad .the clean nice smelling building is really nicely decorated with spacious bedrooms with clean bathrooms .this place as changed myself and more my dad's life .my dad likes it there that much he's now gone to be a resident .the staff really work hard to make sure that old people with dementia get the dignity that they deserve.there is nothing to much trouble for the hard working staff .all I can say is thank you so much to the staff at staveley centre??
