Our purpose designed and refurbished home was opened by Angela Rippon OBE and nestles on the southern edge of the town and enjoys an outstanding reputation with care professionals and the local community.
We offer a high level of residential and dementia care at reasonable prices. Our friendly, caring team support independence and provide personalised care, tasty meals and stimulating activities and entertainment.
Great consideration has been given to the design ensuring that the environment is comfortable and cosy as well as having the latest disability equipment and adaptations incorporated. Our facilities include: WiFi, a choice of comfy lounges, terrace, relaxing landscaped sensory gardens, and good sized single bedrooms, many of which are en-suite.
We are close to the bus stop, Doctors surgery, post office, shops, pubs, library and church.

Oct 2 2017 The Old Vicarage has a nice homely feel and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. All the residents are very well cared for and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I am very happy with my Aunts care and feel happy after every visit that she is safe and well looked after. I cant speak highly enough of The Old Vicarage.
Original Comment Report...The Old VicarageBy: MH Rating:.. Oct 2 2017 I visit the old Vicarage regularly and on each visit it smells clean and fresh and has a lovely atmosphere. On each visit I always see the manager and always speaks with me. The staff in general are all very kind, friendly and approachable. My relative is very happy here and says the food is lovely with lots of choice.
