Charnley House is a large, detached building located close to the centre of Hyde. The property has been adapted and extended over the years to provide accommodation for up to 40 older people. Accommodation is provided over three floors and comprises of 38 single rooms and 1 shared room. There are also a number of communal areas throughout the home. Aids and adaptations have been provided to meet individual needs and there is a passenger lift. Car parking is available to the front of the property.

Dec 17 2018 The staff seem to know all the residents well. They certainly know my mothers likes and dislikes. They remember the names of her family and help her to remember much that could easily be lost form her failing memory. Patience, acceptance and tolerance are a hallmark of the care the entire staff provide. All the staff are genuinely caring and readily express care and affection for the residents.

She was cared for in the most kind, considerate and affectionate way and never once did I have any concerns for her welfare. The treatment I have received since has been wonderful. Every single member of staff have shown me nothing but kindness and compassion. The service provided is second to none.
