May 24 2019 My father was sent here for a week's respite. Me and my mum visited every day (very strict visiting rules)My dad who had suffered a stroke was treated with disrespect from staff, he was shouted at by a sergeant major type carer who made him get up early when he didn't want to. He was left in the TV room with no walker to get back to his room , had been abandoned there and left for so long soiled himself. When I arrived to see him left he was very distressed and there were no staff about. He had bruises that only appeared whilst in care here.Thr place smelt and member of staff and lift stank of cigarettes. We had a informed CQC and received a letter of apology from the home informing us that this would not happen again. Not true, my friend's husband stayed here this year and the same thing happened. Disgusting, why is this still happening

Apr 11 2019 After a knee op I was sent to Marbury House for rehabilitation, I can't thank the staff enough. I was in there over Christmas and for about a month and I didn't want to leave. The staff where great and looked after me in every way not only getting me moving again, but also looked after my state of mind too! I would highly recommend the top notch care that the staff here give! thank you, Ron.
