Jesmund Nursing Home

Jesmund is a light, spacious house standing in its own pleasant grounds, but very much part of the local community. The home has been designed to a high standard and retains the warm atmosphere of a family home. It is situated in Cheam and is close to all usual community facilities. We are near to a railway station and easily accessed by buses.

We can accommodate up to 23 residents who require continuous nursing care for older people with dementia or continuing health care needs.

Many of the bedrooms have en-suite& facilities& and are maintained in good decorative order, all floors are serviced by a shaft lift.

In the heart of the house are the principal communal rooms each tastefully furnished and decorated, including a well-appointed lounge, dining room and library.

Although the bedrooms are fully furnished, residents are permitted to bring their own items of furniture and personal possessions.

Naturally, the home is fully equipped and resourced to be able to provide a high level of nursing care to our residents.

The Staff team at Jesmund is led personally by Abbie Shiels the home owner, Mrs Shiels has owned and managed Jesmund Care home for a number of years. She is a qualified and very experienced RGN/RMN nurse who has previously worked extensively in the health service.
