Warren Lodge Care Home

Opened in May 2011, Warren Lodge has been designed and built to provide dementia care facilities. The home is located on the outskirts of the market town of Ashford in Kent.

The care we offer Warren Lodge has been designed to offer long and short-term dementia care. We offer person-centred care. This revolves around the use of individual memory boxes, reminiscence prompts and a map of life. This allows our staff to get to know our residents and fully understand their history.

We have dementia champions, who received their training at the University of Bradford, and we tailor activities to enhance every residents daily routine.

Food As with all Bupa care homes, the food at Warren Lodge is homemade and prepared by our trained chefs using fresh ingredients. Shortly after their arrival we find out the likes and dislikes of each resident so that our chef can ensure that all dietary requirements and preferences are catered for. At Warren Lodge a private dining room is available for those who prefer a little privacy when eating. This room is also available for entertaining with families on special occasions

Activities Varied activities are very important, as they stimulate the mind and body and enhance the residents& sense of wellbeing. As in all Bupa care homes, the dedicated activity co-ordinator ensures there is always something enjoyable for every resident to do. Activities are designed and tailored to suit all levels of ability.

The garden at Warren Lodge offers a perfect opportunity for green-fingered residents to remain active, with raised flower beds, an allotment and a greenhouse which they can help maintain if they wish.
