Mar 12 2013 For my mother I visited 15 care homes in a 12-mile radius & asked WI friends. This single-storey attractive cottage is the best with exceptional committed staff and manager. It is spotless clean, with a warm, caring and cheerful atmosphere. Visitors are encouraged at all times & can join their relative for lunch (lovely food, esp. home-made puddings). Every room/bedsit has a garden view - flowers/pond/shrubs etc, not just grass/trees. Although a bit guilty for not having mother at my home, the rational part of me knows she is best here where her dignity, cleanliness and health are vigilantly monitored 24-hours a day.
