Redmount Residential Home

My mother has been a resident at Redmount Care home in Buckfastleigh for over a year. During that time the staff, including the caretaker and cleaning and laundry staff have all been caring and thoughtful, and at times gone beyond the call of duty to be helpful and kind. The food is good with care taken to meet mums requests and dietary needs. Family can attend meals and in particular Christmas dinner this year was excellent!! In the afternoons there is a busy activities programme including various bands and music sessions games and seated Tai Chi. The enthusiastic coordinator takes care to include everyone where possible, and look for ways to improve the residents' quality of life. As a health care professional myself I know how challenging it can be to look after the frail elderly well, but in my experience the staff at Redmount do a very good job and my mother is happy with her care.
