Beaconville Nursing Home

Our mother was cared for at Beaconville during the final 20 months her life. She had a number of physical problems resulting in extreme frailty as well as memory loss and was confined to bed for most of her time there. The care given by all members of staff was exceptional. Everyone we met at Beaconville had a positive, warm caring attitude and the leadership was strong and supportive to residents, staff and families. We will always be grateful to Beaconville for doing a difficult and demanding job so well and feel lucky to have found them at the necessary time. They come highly recommended.

We struggled to find a quality provider for Mum - many places have been given glowing reports from the Quality Care Commission, but this was not the case. In some homes, my mother was left with bed sores and zombiefied as extra drugs were given to keep her quiet. However, this was not the case at Beaconville. Under excellent management, my mother was treated as a human and all her needs were catered for. She was warm, clean and well nourished. It took a worrying weight off the family.
