Dawn Rest Home

Dawn Rest Home provides personal care for up to 18 older people. People who live at the home access nursing care through the local community health team.The home is registered to provide care for 18 persons who fall in to the elderly only category. We aim to provide services for the elderly who wish to live in a residential environment who may be frail elderly, suffer from mild dementia or confusion. Wheel chair users may be accommodated in 9 of the residential rooms. The home is fully none smoking within all areas of the home and the grounds. We do not cater for Alcoholics, drug dependants or people with severe mental disorder. Nursing care is not directly provided; we are however supported by the local district nursing services, Macmillan and Marie Currie Nursing services.
