May 30 2015 My mother is a resident in Carleton Court and sometimes her behavior can be challenging. The staff have always been very caring and patient with my mother and I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else because she is looked after so well.

May 25 2015 My mother lives in a care home on the Isle of Arran in Scotland...and loves the opportunity for a break and a visit with family in Pontefract from time to time. I am unable to provide the level of daily care that she needs on her visits and have made arrangements with the owners of Carleton Court for help and support. I consider the care that mum has received on every visit to be exceptionally good. She always receives a warm and friendly welcome from attentive staff. Her personal care needs are fully met, she enjoys a comfortable environment, good food...and a very nice hair do on the last visit. I have seen the management chatting to residents on a regular basis and showing great concern and empathy. One day, many years from now I may up staying in Carleton Court...

The interior of Carleton Court feels like a home, not an institution. My mother's behaviour can be challenging at times but the staff treat her with respect and compassion. She receives nourishing meals, she is always dressed in her own clean, ironed clothes, and a range of stimulating activities are provided. It is an excellent Care Home.
