Iffley Residential and Nursing Home

It is incomprehensible that this facility can call itself a care home. There are, as always good people, doing their best. However, the care, in my view falls significantly short of what I would hope for my loved one. If a resident is quiet and compliant they will suit this home and the ability of the staff. If you would like a personalised, sensitive approach to the care of your loved one then look elsewhere. Sad residents and those requiring conversation or time and compassion will not be suited to this facility. Families are paid lip service but dropping in unannounced and simply observing/listening will immediately tell a very a different story. Residents are left to wonder. Nappies are emptied by the residents own hands and rooms are unkept. If residents are not already in a wet bed the Sheet will be stained with urine. No personal items are safe and disappear. It is soul destroying. Avoid.
