Hibernia

Hibernia is a 5-bed home located in Bursledon, Southampton where we support five young people, in their twenties, who have moved to the home after leaving education.

Hibernia offers a homely environment where individual skills and interests are actively encouraged. We provide individualised care and support to all people living in the home to assist them towards their independence.

The residents living at Hibernia enjoy a very active days and access to a variety of local facilities with high support including swimming, cycling, sensory room, horse riding, art, trampolining and cinema, and there is also a focus on on-going development of daily living skills.

The people we support at Hibernia require high levels of support every time they access the community.

The size of the staff team and the two service vehicles allow us to promote good levels of structured activities in the local area, while meeting individuals’ needs.
