Ambika Lodge Care Home

we were very fortunate to have found Ambika lodge when looking for a suitable nursing home to provide end of life care. As soon as we were met by the owners ( who work in the home) it was very clear that this is a very resident focused home. Extremely clean, very welcoming fantastic staff. Ambika lodge is a home from home, family are encouraged to visit at any time, every resident is cared for as an individual, their every whim catered for. The care our loved one received was excellent, all staff are caring, compassionate and understanding. The support and advice given to us as a family was outstanding, we were involved in all decisions regarding care and well being. personal care given was outstanding, being bed bound was still washed from head to toe, hair washed and shaved. Bed changed every day, room cleaned daily, dinners and snacks cooked to each individual's request - including take aways. Ambika lodge took away the worry for us, we knew our loved one was definitely in the best place possible. I cannot rate Ambika lodge highly enough and would recommend a visit if you are looking for a care home for a loved one.
