I used to be a patient here before attending university, came back and have been trying to re-register. Filled my form out online and then rang them to see what I can do about bringing in my ID. I work a 12hr a day job that's 2 and a half hours away and taking the time off isn't easy. So I spoke to them to see if there was any leeway or other ways I could show my ID and I had a very rude receptionist tell me there was nothing that could be done even once I had explained my situation. She then told me I would be fine to come in first thing Monday morning (today) to show my ID. I booked the time off work, came to the surgery for just after 8 and another receptionist said they can't see me until 11am and that they won't see me! I explained my situation but they repeatedly said no. This surgery makes it so difficult for working people to be able to access medical care. If there is no other options for registering than face to face contact, I can't imagine it is any easier for those with disabilities or those who are vulnerable especially while still in a pandemic!!! If you can get passports and other forms of ID without face to face contact, surely there can be an online, more accessible way to complete the registration process!! |

The receptionist are like bull dogs guarding seem to say busy but then chatting about the royals after stated busy to book me in my appointment. Then goes back chatting on opinions of royal family, been told Dr Husain left , someone put incorrect things on a referral which I believe was not GP or hope not !! Iv had issues of NHS things not been past on for my notes and calls for different service I don’t need . Rude receptionist talking down to me hardly offered appointments |
