Barely being able to stand ysterday, I was kept waiting by a jobsworth receptionist to identify who was (there were no other patients waiting fog to be seen in the entire building). I was then confronted by to members of administrative staff and a doctor (Bhatt) who triggered a panic attack by insisting that I wear a mask (I have asthma and was weak from low blood sugar levels and acute dehydration) hten they wanted me to sit in an a specific seat, when there was nothing to designate this seat for this pupose. Such bullying caused me to politelt to tell Dr Bhatt that I was suffering a panic attack but I was told to leave, they beached my GDPR rights by contacting neighbouring GPs about my behaviour and subsequently struck me from their patients' list. It does seem that this practice is run more for the interests of administrators rather than patients but Dr Bhatt failed in his duty of care; I subsequently spent some hours in accident and emergency being treated. There was no excuse for the bullying behaviour I was at the receiving end of and Brent frankly deserves better. Written more in sorrow than in anger, I remain appalled at the treatment meted out to me yesterday and would dvise anyone seeking a new GP to avoid Brentfield Medical Centre as they do not understand patient-centred care. |
