I am register for 2 years. I am very disappointed., no accurate about our healthy. no experienced and qualified Doctor and Nursery. We offer various options to book appointments online and with our telephone system which includes an automated booking service (option 1) and the option of speaking to a receptionist (option 2) . We have a care navigation team who triage every phone call into the surgery to ensure that every patient is directed to the correct clinician or service. We release a large number of 'on the day' appointments as well as appointments to book in advance. I am sorry that you had such an unsatisfactory experience - we are constantly trying to improve our systems and take all feedback very seriously. Since I moved to the area, I believe that is the best GP surgery I have ever had. If I need to see someone urgently, there is always an appointment available on the same day. In all honesty I've been wary of GPs since having several bad experiences at a previous surgery and then one not so good experience at Sands End several years ago with a locum. However, since then, I wanted to let you know that I've been really impressed with the service I've had at Sands End on the phone and in person. The staff always do their best to accommodate appointments or offer telephone service which is often very helpful. Recently I phoned for advice as I'm 16 weeks pregnant and my mother was diagnosed with shingles. I was concerned but the doctor spoke to me straight away and was really proactive in suggesting how I could be reassured. She called the hospital to see if they could test my immunity using a past blood sample which they agreed to and then followed up the following week. She was extremely understanding of my concern and went above and beyond to reassure me. I'm very grateful and have now persuaded my mother to join the surgery as she also lives locally!
