Due to severe pain, medication mobility and a taxi to and from - it took me three hours to prepare and get to my GP appointment. I live five minutes away. After booking a double appointment well in advance - during my visit I fully explained my situation and needs - not ‘wants’. All backed up by medical reports and most crucial- missed appointments due to mobility. The result? A telephone call on arrival home to inform me I had to go back in to be assessed, resulting in the receptionist slamming down the phone. When I phoned back? Only to be chided by another receptionist for being ‘rude’ to her colleague. Final result? Doctors playing God and taking umbrage for unprofessional admin resulting in the space of one hour a complete turnaround and a delighted receptionist phoning to eagerly tell me the Doctor had decided not to give me a home visit, surgery appointment for an assessment - as I am mobile. Not surprising GPs don’t respond on this site. Horrendous unprofessional and very sad. |

If you do not want doctors you cannot talk to, appointments you cannot get, blood tests that get lost, files that get deleted by mistake - well - then better go somewhere else! It is an accumulation of mistakes for which the reception people have a simple ‚sorry‘ but you have to deal with the consequences. Like go see a doctor again, wait for an extra hour, get another blood test in 2 weeks time, ... |

The doctors seem to change frequently: some have been good, some less so. Some of the desk staff are pleasant, but there have been several occasions when they've been abrupt, unhelpful or even rude (and unfortunately I've spoken to several other people who have found the same). The nurses at the practice have always been great. |
