My son and I attended our review this afternoon where as always we were treated with a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful manor by the nurse.
I hope that our comments will be acknowledged and passed on.

I have been most impressed with joining the surgery, the receptionists was very informative and provided me with all the information I needed to join the surgery (which s very refreshing due to my past surgery not being any where as helpful or supportive). I was invited in and supported through completing all the necessary forms. I recently found out I was pregnant and the receptionist ensured I had all the information I needed. They assured me I would see a Dr. for my first appointment which was very encouraging as a first time mum. Then at my Dr.s appt it was slightly late which I was instantly apologised to about but it really didn't matter to me due to the fantastic service I got. My Dr. spoke to me like an equal with great humour and I spent majority of the appointment in laughter, and as a psychiatric nurse it was impressive to see how much info my Dr obtained from me within a 5 min relaxed chat- very impressed. Really made my day and I was comforted by her realistic and friendly approach, she assured me that between us we will manage my pregnancy and any concerns the process of calling triage which also calmed some anxieties and I felt less alone and very well supported. Most impressed! Just what G.P's should be like. I hope she is aware of how impressed I am! | ||||||

I have recently been involved with this practice to address a few health issues with my mother-in -law ( who is GP phobic!) I have worked in the NHS for 38 years and have met all types of health professional, but I can honestly say this GP surgery has got it just right. My interaction started with the friendly helpful receptionist followed by a GP phone consultation and then a swift collection of antibiotics. A week later a GP appointment that was both thorough and caring, followed by the HCA and Nurse who gently tried to get some bloods from very difficult veins. Every-one I have met has been kind and gone that extra mile to make her visit one that she 'enjoyed'. There is obviously true leadership and team involvement, other GP practices could learn from this flagship surgery. Thanks team...................keep up the good work, it is appreciated. | ||||||
