Wife and I have needed a number of appointments and consequent treatments over the last two years for physical and mental health problems. Despite the intense pressure of the Covid pandemic, we have always had extremely good, caring and courteous, service from the GPs (mainly Ward and George) and all their support staff (receptionists and nurse). They are a credit to the NHS and we believe we are very fortunate. | ||||||

Terrible leave you hanging on the phone for ages even though you are next in the queue so the person who is before you is 20 minutes on the phone 9which I don't believe) when the others before him or her are 5 mins maximum. One doctor is arrogant, no bedside manner. I had a blood test but even though I asked they never gave me an answer and when the doctor phoned me back he only wanted to palm me off with more medication. Unless uncaring money makers !!!! | ||||||

We have always had very good service from Mount Avenue surgery over decades. Today needed appointment as soon as possible for a swollen, red, hot, very painful left forearm and back of hand. Went into surgery; receptionist looked at arm, saw the intense discomfort and fitted me in very promptly. GP Neil very caring and helpful and arranged immediate prescription to cure infection. Excellent service. | ||||||
