I was a patient of a Dr a few years ago when I lived in Stanford-le-Hope and was lucky enough to register with him when I moved to Grays. the practice is very friendly and the staff are very helpful. It almost has a family atmosphere they seem to know their patients really well. For example, the other day I was sitting in the waiting room and the practice nurse noticed me there and came over to remind me to come and see her in September.
If you are lucky enough to live in the catchment area for this GP surgery I would highly recommend it. |

Spoke with some one over the phone they told me I can’t register with them as I have another surgery who I don’t want to be with they were very rude and unhelpful and refused to help me register Reply from Dell Medical Centre Tue, 15 May 2018 11:51:04 +0100 We are really sorry to hear that you feel you had a bad experience when contacting our surgery. Please note that our small practice is oversubscribed with a small catchment area. Receptionists are advised to explain patients who would like to register with the surgery the registration policy for new patients. Unfortunately, sometimes the receptionists have to explain patients that we wouldn’t be able to register them. Practice management spoke with all receptionists and it was felt that at no occasion they responded inappropriately to recent requests by patients who wanted to register at our surgery. Please note that all calls are recorded. Practice management reviewed again with receptionists the policy of registering new patients and the importance of good and courteous communications skills when interacting with patients. Again, we are sorry to hear that you felt you had a bad experience when contacting our surgery. We wish you and your family all the best for the future. |

She demanded to know personal details so she could forward it to a GP. Insinuating that I had ordered an item that had never before Been prescribed simply because the GO didn't know the trade name that is on the box. Deteriorated into rudeness from the reception and thought it was ok to treat me like a liar or Idiot
