I rang my surgery this morning 4/1/23 for a phone call appointment, after 4 attempts I finally got put in the queue at no 20. 1 hour and 6 minutes later I spoke to a reception who was actually polite for a change , who apologised and said no appointments left. This is not the first time this has happened, it's all the time. My family have been with this doctor's surgery for 30 years, we were with them in Billet Lane with Dr Barbosa, then moved to Brentwood road where eventually Dr Edison took over, it seems the longer you have been with this surgery the worse you get treated. Even since Dr Ola left the surgery and COVID , the last 3 years the surgery has gone down hill. You can't get a face to face appointment with your doctor, if you are lucky to get one you get the locam doctor or the nurse Angela who is lovely. The majority of doctor's surgery in Hornchurch/ Rainham and Cranham are all open and doing face to face appointments, but of course the new medical centre Brentwood road isn't doing them due to COVID, is it me or are there other people out there facing the same problem. The surgery is open for the nurse and locam but not for your doctor, when you ask the receptionist why you can't see your doctor face to face they reply because of COVID. You can visit the hospital or clinic, with or without face masks, so why not this surgery, why are they not helping their patients when they need help, we are just being ignored. All new patients that join the surgery seem to get the best service, I'm sorry to have to moan about this but something needs to be done about the treatment patients receive , before they go elsewhere to a better surgery that will see them face to face. |

I want to give a higher review because when I do finally get an appointment I find the reception staff, nurses and doctors warm friendly and helpful. I think that’s why I find it so frustrating that the appointment system is a shambles - specifically it’s a lottery as to whether you call and actually get one. Usually when I call dead on 8am and 2pm the automated voices says there are no appts. How can this be? I have put off reporting health issues because I can’t get seen and now they are worse. Out of ten times I called I’ve managed to get an appointment once for my daughter. |

I usually order Repeat Prescriptions by e-mail on the Patient Access site but after at least 4 attempts the site would still not let me in so I rang the Surgery and spoke to a very helpful young lady called Louise , explained what was happening and she gave me an alternative approach Definitely 10/10 |
