I have always found that the service provided by the doctors including Dr Poolo have been excellent. The reception staff have also been very good even when under a lot of pressure. There have been the odd occasion when a message has not got through or passed on or a repeat prescription has not arrived, but this is rare. Since the CPC review new reception staff have taken the strain from the regulars and things have improved, however the old reception staff were brilliant but vanished during covid and have not returned. Dr Mrs Poolo has sadly retired,I always found her very helpful. Dr Mr Poolo has been an absolute rock and is always there. It is always good to see a doctor who knows your conditions over time,as we need to see them more as we age! Plus It is always nice to see a familiar friendly face. |

I have been with many GP’s over the years and it must be said that the receptionist is always the first person you need to talk to for an appointment, these ladies are amazing at this surgery! They are cheerful and very helpful. The other members of staff are also great in getting your needs met. Doctors are good, ???? |

I can’t recommend this surgery enough, there is usually a wait for appointments but in emergencies the staff do go above and beyond to help. It’s a rarity to find a family run Gp surgery where your Gp knows you, rather than be passed around the different practitioners.
They are old school in some areas eg preferring to see people for repeat prescriptions rather than constantly email to a pharmacy which I think is better. |
