Requested repeat prescription not ready on the Monday so waited till Friday still not ready. Spoke to a receptionist at 10am told would have to come back at 4pm. Still not ready asked to see a manager apparently no one available. Receptionist said she had to text GP. Asked where he was told in room 3. The fact that I called on Monday and still not sorted on Friday just shows an apparent disregard for patients. Asked to see the Dr told only time available was a telephone consultation in 10days time. The service is appalling |

By and large the reception at this practice was and is extremely good, with tactful helpful staff. However, last week I was rung up randomly and out of the blue by one of the newer members of staff. Without any preamble or asking whether it was OK to talk, she asked me why I was seeing the GP about the following week. I was in a public place, in a meeting that I could not leave. Embarassed and unwilling to give this lady details of an intimate personal complaint which could be overheard by all my friends and colleagues, I told her that it was a follow up to a previous visit. After much humming and hawing, she told me that she couldnt find the notes from that visit as they were not available and carried on asking why I was seeing the GP, threatening to cancel it if I didnt tell her. I finally gave her the medical name for the condition I was suffering (anal fissure) which she patently didnt understand so I was forced to describe the symptoms. Whilst I accept the need of staff to ensure GP time is used effectively and appropriately, I cannot accept that staff, with little medical knowledge, have any right to call out of the blue and threaten to cancel an upcoming appointment without disclosure of very personal details in a public place. I called reception just after this incident and another receptionist confirmed that my notes from the previous appointment, which this lady claimed she couldnt find, were readily available. Worrying that this newer member of staff is letting down the high standards of the rest of the reception team. A very distasteful episode. |

Very well managed place. The manager always listen to patients suggestion, the new appointment system works really well.
The reception staff is always friendly, professional and very helpful.
The GPs and the nursing team are very committed, knowledgeable and effective with a touch of cheerfulness which helps with patients recovery.
They really work very hard and always involve me in decision about my healthcare.
I have been register with this practice for the last couple of years and I can see this place going from strength to strength.
I am very grateful for the care I receive each time I visit the practice and I wish them all the best in the future.
