I forgot to say that, despite this surgery not wanting sick people to visit, they are more than happy to welcome people for vaccines; how much do they get paid for each jab in arm? |

I chose this surgery when I moved to this area just over a year ago because it seemed the least bad. However, from day one, I have only had bad experiences here; they messed up my medications and take no responsibility for it, sending me abroad for five weeks (which I told them) with only three weeks medication. I have given up on them giving me prescriptions and buy my medicine elsewhere now. More importantly, they really do not like seeing sick people and will do anything and everything in their power to stop people from disturbing them. If you need to see a doctor, you first have to fill in an online form and then someone will get back to you within THREE days, after which you will get a telephone consultation which will determine, in THEIR opinion, whether they have no choice but to see you. Only God can help you if you have a cancer and are registered at this surgery. The receptionists are generally not overtly rude but very much in the culture of keeping sick people away from the surgery. Generally they will tell you to go to hospital if you're worried about anything. If you happen to go there, the place is virtually empty and I am sure very little work is done. And that's the way they like to keep it. I'm actually surprised that they answer the phone. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE is my advice. Docklands Medical Centre is a classic example of NHS waste of tax payer's money. |

Gp not carrying out tests requested by hospital consultant, 2nd request by consultant put into an inbox of a gp that is not currently at the surgery and this only being raised when i the patient rang the hospital to try and find out why everything was delayed by 2 months. Still awaiting a response from the practice manager.
Extremely unhappy about the level of incompetence and down right lack of care at this practice |
