This GP is awful. Ever since moving to newham I am mortified that this is my closest GP. The receptionist staff treat you they like, depending on who you are. It’s hit and miss. Some days one lady will try her best to help you fairly whilst the rest look like they don’t want to be there doing their job. They will send me messages to pick up notes that they claim they can’t give to me in reception. They change their phone lines from 8:30 to 8am and don’t let patients know. It’s a disaster - I rather go to a hospital or phamarcy and avoid this place as much as I can. As someone who suffers with a chronic disease and needs basic support on a regular basis - this is the worst GP. |

I've been at this GP surgery for six years. I've found in the past 2-3 years it's been progressively harder and harder to get an appointment and the appointments you are offered are 1-2 weeks out, even for babies and small children! Appalling!
The front desk staff are generally rude and unhelpful when ringing. They always tell you to ring at 8am and when you do the phone just rings and rings. To be quite honest ringing there for an appointment is one of the most stressful things in my life. I've quite happily decided to move on from this surgery and hope the next one won't be such a poor experience. Close to your home isn't always best! |

While I am familiar with general practice from a professional stance, Royal Docks is an exceptional general practice. This is in relation to the high standards of management and care from both their medical and nursing staff. This relates to very good communication skills and comprehensiveness of consultations. There is collegiate working with the 'patient'. I have recommended this practice and will continue to do so.
