ADDITION to PREVIOUS review: While it was always very difficult getting an appointment at this practice the situation has now worsened even further. There are two means to do this online (you can't get through on the phone so online is the only way to go): Patient Access or via your NHS account. Today when I tried to make an appointment I signed into Patient Access (the name is so ironic; it should be called Patient Denial or Patient Exclusion) I was told I had to re-set my password though I know I have it correct. SIX attempts later, six emails, six texts, six new passwords carefully adhering to the password stipulations - and I am told 'Sorry, we could not complete your request at this time.' I then tried to make an appointment via the second path - my NHS account, and was told: 'Sorry, your GP services are not currently available.' !!!! No other information. That's it. How is this even LEGAL? An NHS GP should always be available in this country. I am not even going to walk down to the surgery and ask in person for an appointment because all too often GPs do not call at the time specified anyway. Imagine if I was an elderly person, trying to make an appointment, trying to make sense of their moronic and dysfunctional website, trying again and again, to even get access to the portal in the first place. This surgery is an utter disgrace. Whoever manages it should be SHOT. The place is just a cess-pit. There is no other way to describe it. The - 'service' - offered to patients, the way patients are treated, is so far below par it is disgusting. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I can't count the number of times a phone call appointment with a GP has either not been scheduled, so the GP doesn't know about it, or the GP themselves fail to call. In our current climate, a pandemic, such phone call appointments are vital. Secondly you can never get through on the phone so, despite their assertions that visiting in person is to be avoided, you have to actually walk to the practice to make an appointment. I've been trying to arrange a smear for over 6 months because the surgery hasn't received - or more likely, recorded - correspondence sent to them from the royal London hospital in Whitechapel. I'm at the point of paying for a smear privately because of this ridiculous, ongoing cockup. I've been let down again tonight, waiting for a scheduled phone call - which I knew wouldn't happen simply because of the shocking service at this practice. I have no idea who left the positive reviews for this place but believe me, just avoid this practice if you can help. It is an absolute veritable nightmare. Even their opening hours are wrong: online they say they're open till 8pm. In fact they close at 6:30. This surgery is a joke.

Mr Chatarjee to tell him that the ruling of 3 months is correct. All over the Internet all the research says the same as what I am saying. This practice even on Google couple years back was a 4.7 rated practice now 2.3 stars Absolutely shambolic I know the NHS is under alot of pressure but this practice and doctor are complete cons. During my time I have seen blatant racial preferences by the receptionist I have the name on the same complaint letter. regarding appointments people of colour given longer wait times and being told there are no emergency appointments. (but hang on they don't give out appointments I've been told so contradictory of what I've been told). In my eyes white privilege exists I was there for almost 4 hours so I can vouch for that and that's throughout the week.

Abdul Kayum 10/02/1990 Flat 18 Salford House Seyssel Street London E14 3HZ 07807680000 I am currently abroad in Bangladesh my flight was on the 23/08/2022 will be returning early because doctor refused to give the full duration prescription which I have on repeat. I travelled to Bangladesh Due to my grandmother passing away and was necessary for me to attend the funeral. I know that I would be away close to 3 months due to the estates being divided so it was necessary for me to make arrangements to ensure I have sufficient medication for my travel. I contacted Barkantine clinic numerous times regarding this in which I was simply put though hoops. I know that the NHS will cover my medical needs for a maximum of three months. Since the 15/08/2022 I have been trying to arrange for this prescription for that duration. Everytime I try make an appointment I get told this new stupid system that only a doctor can give you an appointment after having a telephone consultation. I use the NHS app for the repeat prescription in which it was rejected twice but upon the third time it was granted (I mentioned on the notes that I will be travelling for a long suction and would need to be supplied sufficient medication. So I was under the impression that I have been granted the full Duration clearly wasn't the case. I asked for an emergency appointment which I feel was the right thing and yet was told to use the online service. a doctor never called me what so ever or called and kept saying they could not hear me which is an utter lie. The sunday before my travel i was told i would get a telephone call as the first person on the list. Since the phone call diddnt happen I went straight over to the practice with the the false hope being instilled in me that a doctor will see me. Specifically Dr Chatarjee will see me. I waited 4 hours for someone else to come out to me to tell me that a doctor wont be seeing me and this was the practice manager. He told me Dr chatergee has gone home because he feels ill. Absolutely shameful that title should be stripped off the front of his name clearly has no duty of care. I did not see him leave the building whatsoever. Furthermore the practice manager threatened to have be stricken off the practices register. I was not abusive in anyway NO SWEARING NO AGGRESSION however i will admit that i was frustrated which i have every right to be and if he cant deal with a frustrated patient then why is he even there. I have never felt more threatened than ever in my life to be threatened to have my health needs taken away from me. This phone call never happened at the allotted time instead at 17:00pm (when the doctor finish for the day). The first call was literally i picked up the call The doctor literally hanged up. Second call lasted 5 seconds where the doctors first words were i cant hear you. Third time i said i can hear you clearly fine and the doctor hanged up within 7 seconds. I think everyone would agree it would take more than 5-7 seconds to establish whether you are in clear communication. I have the telephone records to prove it. I went to the practice lodged a complaint which i know will just be thrown in the bin so i asked for a copy of it. It is at home I will be returning on the 18th sept. Once again i have been in contact with them since everyday trying to get this resolved. Since I live 5 mins from the practice I had enough of this absolute negligent behaviour. I contacted NHS 111 for further assistance in which they told me that yes I was correct regarding the 3 month ruling and they tried to liase with Mr (excuse the pun) Chatarjee however he simply refused to take responsibility of my medical needs. Now I will be cutting my travel short due to the medicine being NOT AVAILABLE in bangladesh. Absolute shambles NHS 111 clearly have told me I am correct and have noted it down to say I am correct in what I am saying. The agent I believe his name was Kyle from 111 called Mr Chatarje
