Awful services, both reception and doctors. They changed receptionist, and God help whoever needs an appointment and this man is on duty. He talks to the patients arrogantly, bored and even yawning in the phone. He still doesn’t know how to use the phone correctly, I was hanged up 3 times, once when I was 1st in que, then 4th, then 7th. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make an appointment for my child but I still called back and after an hour and 3 hangs up I was told that they are fully booked, obviously. I knew that in the second I was hanged up for the 2nd time, but still wanted to tell him that he needs more training in doing this job or for them to hire someone experienced if the current one visibly shows disrespect for patients. As this isn’t the 1st time happening, I can’t wait to transfer to another GP surgery. Doctors are always rushing the patients like it is our fault that they are always running late. Disappointing to see how this surgery changed to the worst, and with all that awful reviews still won’t do anything to do better. |

This surgery does not care about trans healthcare, they're not queer friendly and refuse to provide essential hrt (Hormone replacement therapy). I've been fighting for months to get a bridging prescription for hrt whilst waiting for my first appointment with the GIC. And was told no one at this surgery was keen or willing to do that for me, despite me providing the NHS prescribing guidelines for bridging prescriptions that are harm reduction strategies. After a series of complaints, emails and calls that were not taken seriously, I managed to meet with the Dr Wijeyekoon whom is making these decisions and not allowing any other GPs at the surgery to prescribe what I'm requesting. He claimed that they needed licences and trainings in gender care, so I asked if they were going to do those steps in their medical education to be able to provide care for trans patients and he said they would not and advised me to change surgery to one that does provides this basic trans care. He claimed I was twisting their arm for this medication, but he was the one forcing me to either wait almost 10 years for the GIC appointment to get the medication, or forcing me to change surgery. Which I did in the end as I felt not taken seirously and disregarded as a patient and I deserve better than them. LGBTQIA+ community beware if this surgery. If you also been through something similar with them, do an official complain with the (NCL ICS). Can't let negligent anti-queer doctors get away with this. And Zalihe Yavas (Surgery Manager) if you read this, don't even bother responding to this review. You didn't even addressed my complaint properly. I hope you all sleep well at night. Unprofessional bunch. |
