My apt was made via 111 .I was told I would be rung at 3pm so I waited, By 6pm I rang the surgery to find out what was happening and did I really have an apt only to be told after waiting to speak to reception that the doctor had tried to ring me at 6pm but phone was engaged. The receptionist let the doctor know what happened and I waited but got no call. During the hottest days of the year with the air quality the worst over london this year I sat in my room crying quietly because I did not have the Asthema inhaler that I needed even though I had requested one the previous week and it had been denied, I have now bought one from the internet but as it is litterally a matter of life and death I thought it best. |

It is obvious that the Manor Practice Surgery is struggling. The reviews I have seen have replies from I assume the Practice manager but they appear to be a standard reply and all apologise and say Dial 0208 539 8950 and speak to a Doctor. There lies the problem. Usually you have to wait anything up to an hour just to speak to a receptionist. You are extremely lucky if you get put on an emergency list otherwise you have to wait a least two weeks to speak to a Doctor usually via a telephone call but sometimes if you are extremely lucky an actual face to face appointment. Apparently this is happening across the whole country. It is worse since Coronavirus and the National Health Service is on its knees thanks to this inconsiderate Government. |
