Everyone at Culverhay Surgery goes out of their way to be friendly and supportive. I can always get an appointment when I need one
I feel reassured that the doctors are all up to date with the latest approaches and don’t just dole out pills on a whim.
The additional support offered at the surgery such as the pharmacy and counselling service have been a real boon for me.
When I remember some of the frankly awful surgeries I’ve had the misfortune to be registered with in the past I feel so thankful to be a patient at Culverhay. |

I’ve been attending the Culverhay surgery for most of my life. I’ve found every doctor that I’ve seen approachable, and professional. Throughout my teens, I struggled badly with anxiety and depression. One of the doctors in the surgery went to great lengths to ensure that I received any support needed to get me through school and life in general. As well as this, I’ve been receiving asthma treatment from the culverhay since I was about 5 years old(now 22) and have had no real trouble since they started treating me. I genuinely don’t think I’d be where I am today without the help of the team at the culverhay surgery, Wotton-under-Edge. |

Culverhay delivers everything I want in a Surgery and in comparison to the nightmare stories I hear from friends at other surgeries, I would say it excels in patient service.
If I have a problem, like most people I want to see or speak to a GP today not be told the next available appointment is on 10 days. Culverhay delivers on this.
In periods of pain, particularly in a recent episode I was surprised, as I thought they no longer occurred, to receive two home visits to administer pain relief and daily phone calls to check on my recovery.
The patient/Doctor rapport is also second to none, relaxed but professional and the practice nurse, receptionists and pharmacy are equally as professional.
I consider the Doctors to be up to date with what is the latest in medicine and the administration of drugs and the alternatives available to dependant prescription medicine. |
