I first visited the practice in November 2016 feeling unwell and was seen by the doctor, who sent me for various tests at Hospital which resulted in January 2017 being diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis. I have subsequently needed monthly check ups which the doctor has provided plus numerous blood tests! The level of care I have received has been absolutely superb from the doctor herself, the different nurses , the pharmacy and the receptionists. I am now well on the road to recovery and am so thankful for all the care and support I have received and know that this will continue until I am completely well. Thank you all so much. I recently had to visit the surgery once to give blood samples and once to see the doctor.I found making the appointment very easy and getting to talk to somebody who was very efficient and offered alternate dates to suit my commitments. When i visited, the new replacement wall screen to check in was very fast and easier than the old one to use. I wait no more than 5 mins to see the nurse who was very pleasant and and efficient. I was impressed that the follow up appointment with the doctor was completed with the nurse before i left, i did not have to go back to the reception to make an appointment. On my second visit that too was as efficient again i only had to wait a few minutes to see the doctor, who looked after me very well and explained my situation very clearly. Nice to see that they have stepped up and raised their game in many areas. Keep it up!!! |

I visited the prescribing nurse with my 6 year old daughter, she was really helpful. My daughter was well looked after. The nurse suggested a possible cause of the problem which was something I hadn’t even thought about. I would book again with no problem. |
