I can not praise Charter enough, following COVID, despite real pressure on a busy practice, Dr Karina Turner insisted that I go in for a face to face appointment, she was very thorough and set up tests which took place within days, the whole system efficiency was outstanding, and although my symptoms did not turn out to be cancer, I was very relieved by the way the NHS performed seamlessly, between the doctor, the Hove poly clinic, and the County hospital. |

We only recently joined this surgery, and have been very impressed. I have been given an appointment that was convenient for me every time I have contacted the surgery, and have seen professional and caring staff. The efforts the team have made to ensure good access for patients have clearly paid off, and I appreciated the time and care put into streamlining the telephone system- including the option for the surgery to call me back when I got to the front of the telephone queue.
I requested a prescription for my daughter's inhaler online at 9.30 am and it was ready at my chosen pharmacy by 3pm that afternoon. Great service! Would wholeheartedly recommend this surgery. |

My experience with Charter Medical Centre over many years has been exceptional. I have seen several Drs in the practice including Dr Karina Turner and Dr John Condon who are both superb; kind, personable and very thorough in their assessments/ arranging further tests/ referrals The online booking system works really well for booking appts and you can always get one promptly. My only constructive feedback is to try and reduce the time taken to answer calls. This can be very lengthy (over 40 mins) when online systems are down and must be difficult for patients without internet access. Would be helpful if one member of the reception team was purely allocated to answering calls. |
