The problem with this GP Practice is the Receptionist. Once you manage to get past her, the doctors are wonderful. I just can't get my head round how someone can take so little pride in their work, have seemingly no interest in any personal professional development and on top of it have such poor communication abilities in a public facing role. You can't even put it down to lack of training, after so many years. Such a pity as it lets the practice down and I'm sure it’s a contributory factor for the ratings. |

I have been a patient at this surgery for the last 3 years. I have always found the doctors and nurses, together with the staff, act in a professional and compassionate manner. The staff especially are extremely helpful and understanding and go above and beyond despite clearly being overstretched.
The nurses have been brilliant. I often visit for a review on my diabetes and as usual was treated by an extremely competent and sympathetic practitioner.
I hear many complaints about the NHS, however, at this surgery, I see little sign of anything to complain about.
Keep up the fine work. I would recommend the surgery to anyone. |

2 years of having to run the gauntlet of incompetent reception staff and having a different doctor for virtually every appointment, lost test results, receptionists clumsily trying to interpret clinical medical test results, total and utter ignorance when it comes to replying to emails and phone calls eg when i sent an urgent prescription request explaining that i was in too much pain to travel to the surgery the doctor simply decided he wanted to see me and did not even bother to inform me of this and just left it to me to call and find out from the reception staff! i have been consistently misdiagnosed and sent for important test.the results of which were lost. I have now finally given up with the shambolic care from this nhs trust as a whole. I have now been forced to go private or run the risk of dying at the hands of this catastrophe of a surgery. |
