I moved from Stanford Practice to Matlock Practice a few years ago, because they offered a more caring service & I could choose between the 2 permanent doctors.
Since then the practice has deteriorated.
I realise that it will merge with Beaconsfield next year, but I am unable to move before then.
Today I have a suspected fractured foot. I have run 3 times & called in. At no point did the receptionist say that I would have to go to A&E.
The receptionist did say she was new, but there wasn’t anyone for her to ask for help! How can that happen.
This is not the first time that the practice has shown undue care. | ||||||

The doctor I saw is the kindest man I have met. He listened and understood my situation, He is a credit to his profession and one that I am pleased to have as a doctor, In addition, his staff both front desk and nursing, are second to none, a real credit to the NHS. I am honoured to be his patient in my troubling times, he has trusted me and I, likewise.... THANK YOU AND TEAM | ||||||

I took my daughter for an Evening appointment at 6.50pm.whilst waiting in the waiting room a couple of other patients came in a said that he would see them at the end of surgery. We where seen about 7.15 which I don’t think is too bad after considering it’s the end of the day and the doctor was clearly still happy to see extra patients and gave only what I can express as a very in-depth 20 min consultation. One particular doctor is a very rare old school doctor who seems to work as a doctor for the passion of the job. Goodness knows what time he got home that night but he didn’t seem in any kind of rush and made us feel important. This is definitely the best practice in Brighton | ||||||
