After a 20 minute wait in morning to speak to someone, described symptoms to a receptionist. Still no walk in clinic at upper Wickham Lane and no appts available.Informed I would receive a call- back from Doctor on my mobile later in the day. No call received by 21:00 hrs. Had to ring 111 that night as condition deteriorated and referred to QE 2 Hospital shooters Hill, because Upper wickham lane had no appts reserved for 111 calls! QE2 were all fantastic. Diagnosed with Pneumonia, given strong antibiotics and all support we love and respect in NHS. STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL-Back from ANYONE at Bexley Group Practice as i type.Negligent, incompetent or simply don't care?- you decide. |

The wors GP I have seen I have called them about my 9month old girl they said they will contact me back never did . Before I ring them 38 times they never pick up the phone I made complaint to hier department about them |

My mother has been a patient for many years and has noticed a definite decline in care from the practice. She was asked to attend surgery when she had diarrhoea on more than one occasion. I should add she has COPD and has major mobility issues and it took ages for her to be recognised as someone requiring home visits after she was eventually seen at the surgery by a doctor. I had to park illegally to allow my mother to walk accompanied by my wife to the surgery!
We have constant problems with slowness in providing prescriptions and passing them to B R Lewis the pharmacy next door. My mother returned from a long stay in hospital and the hospital provided very few of her tablets and we immediately put a request in to the surgery for repeat prescription, we are still waiting for it to be sent to the pharmacy.
In all I would recomend that anyone able to register at another practice, do so, I think it unfathomable that this practice is allowed to continue to take money from the NHS while providing such poor service. |
