I have been with this doctor for over 20 years. I guess I just put up with them because it generally turned out okay and there were some decent GPs over the years. But in the past 5 years or so I have not found a doctors visit a good experience. I had one who would repeat everything I said out loud as they typed out the notes. Almost as if they had to cover themselves (why I don't know?) - so this meant the limited time you had in the office was absorbed with this ritual/technique. It was like a wall between you and effective communication, like someone was holding a hand up in front of your face. Then I had 2 prescriptions not sent through to the chemist, in a row - so I had to go to the surgery in person to enquire both times. Both times the receptionist apologised - the doctor hadn't signed it - and put it through again. The third time (in a row!) this happened I got a different receptionist who claimed the chemist hadn't sent through the request (this was not true and I knew it) but the person kept on insisting and behaved in a very untrustworthy quibbling manner. I thought, if you are employing people like this behind the desk I'm gone. On further research I found out the surgery had shrunk down to the 3 GPs I liked least (including the one above). |

I have asthma and have really bad damp and mould in my flat I the doctors put me on Monty Lucas for about 4 weeks to see if it would help my chest but it didn’t I called the doctors to make an appointment and a doctor called me back and was really rude to me and was like they ain’t going to look in to my asthma and just to take pain killers and that he ain’t putting me on new inhalers and to this day I’m still in pain and my chest is still the same |

The nurse advised me on how my son needs to use his inhaler, there is an improvement, no running up and down to the surgery and hospital. There is a better outcome. |
