I would like to redress the balance here. I've been with this practice for 27 years since my son was born. It's true It's difficult to get an appointment, but I believe most surgeries have a similar system because of the press they are under. It's not impossible to get an appointment, my son and I have rarely failed. By starting to ring just before 8am and persisting, then being very quick to press 1 when the system switches over. Don't wait to listen to the message. I have never encountered a rude receptionist or doctor. When you do see the doctors they are mostly caring and efficient. I would agree with comments about the outside of the surgery, it could do with a regular clean. Also better signposting inside. However in general I have not had any really negative experiences. The difficulty getting appointments is nationwide, and due to an increasing population and years of government cuts. I would give this practice 4/5. | ||||||

How is it possible for this to happen the caring profession so called. Received a text message to tell me to contact GP to get feed back on my X ray .. 1and a half hours on phone from 8th in the cue 7th 6th etc only to be cut of after 1and a half hours .. shameful are they just trying to tell us we don’t really matter.There time is valuable are time isn’t.. who do you talk to who do make a complaint to .no one this is the only thing that you can do .. Went to the surgery for the first time in ages on the 2nd of February had wonderful service from the surgery even got consultant appointments in march but sadly my impression all changed today sent for repeat medication and requested what chemist I wanted to use was told by receptionist think she must be new’ they had not received my request and request had gone to another surgery!!! She did say it would get done later on this evening got text to say make appointment to see doctor at work all week will not have enough to last and one of them should not be stop won’t bother will stay in pain until I see consultant | ||||||
