I left the surgery because of relocation, but I would strongly recommend it. Patient's concerns are always taken seriously and nurses/doctors are never hasty when it comes to patients. |

I waited a whole week for an appointment and was in pain. I have never been late for a doctors appointment before. I apologised to the receptionist and explained I understand how rude it is to be late and it is not something I have ever done, but after waiting five to ten minutes she explained that the doctor would not see me, as I was over 2 minutes late for the fifteen minute allocation period. I have waited forty minutes before as have my family members without an explanation or even an update from staff. I understand that the practice needs to have guidelines, but bearing in mind no one asked me why I was late? Or why I needed to see a doctor I was appalled that a doctor I have seen who knows I have a history of depression could turn me away for being 2 minutes over his allotted time frame. It is not surprising that there is such issues with mental health when doctors behave in this manner towards there patients. I will not be returning to this practice as in my mind they are not even meeting basic human kindness standards. I cried when I left the surgery and I deserve to be treated with the kindness and respect I show others. |
