Housebound patient Very concerned that I might have a pressure sore Unable to get to the surgery Was told that somebody would call me backWhich they didThey wanted to know all the details before they thought it was necessary for a home appointmentDid absolutely nothing to allay my fearsI'm afraid I got quite angry because I was so worriedFor the 1st time in my life I felt totally useless and undervaluedBecause I was in a wheelchair I wasn't able to get to the surgeryIt's not often I ask for helpI'm afraid I won't be asking help from this surgery ever againI will have to be dead before I give them another callA face-to-face call will be absolutely no good because of where sores are. I'm afraid the system they have in place is more for the doctors than the patients I'm apologised for getting angry But it's not my fault that I'm in a wheelchair But was made to feel it was My sister is coming up from bognor regis just to check that I'm OK Shouldn't have to do that But nobody was taking my fears seriously Have to jump through loads of hoops To get help Can't get to see anyone for love or money. | ||||||

Horrific service. Having recently moved to Shepperton I'm aghast and will be moving GP's asap. I'm in my early 30s so dread to think how older patients manage this service. Clunky, inefficient, un-user friendly. I want to start a family this year but simply don't trust this practice to manage my pregnancy. Impossible to make an appointment, filling out loads of online forms to just wait all day (or days later) to get a call back- no clear information or instructions. Then getting multiple passive aggressive answer machine messages asking why I'm not answering my phone days later (I was at work) but not way of replying or ringing back the doctor. I had a real mental heath crisis last year and desperately needed an urgent referral- the surgery contacted me 3 weeks later. That could've been too late. The only time I've managed to get an appointment with a doctor for a breast cancer scare screening, they kept me waiting past my allocated time in surgery for 1.5 hours... ludicrous. | ||||||
