Don't get me wrong the telephone system is completely pants and the online booking system has a lot left to be desired ( how about letting people book a nurse appointment? Or telling them when they can have an appointment rather than all the multiple questions at the beginning?).
However, they doctors I have seen over the three sites of guildown practice have been respectful, kind and understanding.
I don't usually worry about seeing the same Dr bit recently have been able to see the same two Dr's and nurse which has hugely improved my comfort. I feel cared for and confident that they will get to the root cause and solutions for my illnesses.
The reception staff often do not get a positive review on this site but I would like to say that in person the lovely ladies at Stoughton are always helpful and happy.
When you call in you often get sent to another surgerys reception whom are sometimes less helpful. That said they have a difficult job juggling the availability of the Dr's and nurses to the needs of us all.
I also wanted to say the nurses are lovely they are chatty and friendly and I feel confident in their abilities - I have tricky veins but they manage to draw blood every time unlike at the hospital! Needed to book in for 1st midwife appointment which they have no appointments till 6 weeks time that will make me 15 weeks that means not scan no help untill then noe all i will be doing is worrying till then. I would really appreciate it if you could contact the practice manager so she can investigate what happened to ensure this doesn't happen again. We need to see if the message was given to the midwife to determine if the communication error was between us and the royal surrey or just an error on our part. | ||||||

Was a little concerned when I read the reviews about this surgery. However since moving into the area I have found this practice to be extremely helpful and have always given me excellent service.
Only negative point I can say is that I don't see the same doctor each time.
