The staff are always friendly and helpful. The doctors I have seen are always very understanding. There seems to be a pretty high turnover of doctors, so it'd probably be difficult to see the same person over an extended period of time.
I can always get an appointment but there is usually a long wait time - but what do you expect in today's conditions... Reply from University Of Surrey Branch Fri, 16 Mar 2018 13:59:53 Z Thank you very much for your feedback and recognising the current and difficult status of most GP practices. We will continue to do our best by our patients. Thank you again, this is a really motivator for our staff. |

I have been a patient at this GP for two years. I know there are often complaints from students about difficulty in finding appointments, but given that there's high demand as it's situated on the Surrey university campus they do an excellent job. Reception staff is friendly and welcoming, and all the doctors I've seen here do take time out to listen. Staff always know which patients to give priority for appointments based on what condition you have, so make sure you discuss your current medication and treatment while asking for an appointment. In case appointments are not available at the Student Health Centre, they can advise you about alternative appointments at affiliated group surgeries in Stoughton Road, Oaks, or Wodeland. |

My son was registered at the university branch of this practice whilst a student. When he graduated he didn’t realise that he was expected to move to another surgery and as he was continuing to live in Guildford left his registration at this surgery. He only discovered that he should have moved when we returned from a ski holiday during which he was unfortunately injured, and in need of a speedy referral to an Orthopaedic surgeon.
Nothing phased the receptionist who helped us. Despite the fact that my son should have registered elsewhere she took ownership of our request, collated all the paperwork that we sent to her, identified the relevant GP to assist and facilitated the prompt and efficient onward referral to our preferred consultant. She kept us informed throughout the process and nothing was too much trouble. We were very grateful for the help and support and felt that the service we received was excellent. |
