They are absolutely awful to deaf people and are refused to help them even in covid 19 situations and they are not helpful toward to my husband when he need help desperately and they don,t really care about him at all I am very disappointed with them and have been trying to get hold of centre manager who are responsible for overseeing the GP and need to make a reasonable adjustment to meet the need of a deaf person who need help. The GP keep fobbing him off to the locum who really have no idea how to deal with him have had my blood boiled. Something have to be done!!!! ?????? |

This is not enough and I hope to nominate my Doctor for an award this year but for now I'd like to highlight my GP. Dr Sandhu is the best doctor I've ever had, she is understanding, she listens, she genuinely wants to help and has always made sure my health comes first. It's hard to talk about, but last year I had got to my lowest point and without her I would never have been able to get stronger and feel like I could get better. It's still a journey but she continues to make sure I know she is there for me. She not only is expertly amazing in her job as a doctor but her human empathy is outstanding. I don't feel like this sort of recognition especially in the mental health department is validated enough within GP practices with it being so poorly funded from the government. Having her as my doctor has made my journey that bit easier and I never feel I can't tell her anything as we work through getting my health better together. Thank you Dr Sandhu you're amazing. |
